Colours and materials
At Køkkensnedkeren you can choose both wood and lacquered colours, and we make sure to match the veneer for a natural repetition of the veins on doors and drawers, to ensure a harmonious and unique kitchen in line with the wood's appearance.

Caring for our environment
Our focus on quality materials means that our kitchens become sculptural elements in their own right while retaining an openness that invites personal distinction.
We are inspired by details in structures, surfaces, colours and stones as well as the idea of seeing furniture as something sculptural in its own right, which adds aesthetics and atmosphere to a vibrant environment.
Love for your materials
It is important to maintain your surfaces so they stay beautiful for as long as possible.
We have compiled a series of guides for different types of surfaces that you can follow to ensure a long lifespan for your materials.

Oil treatment of wood surfaces
Wood surfaces are some of the most durable, but like any other living material, wood needs loving care. Surfaces in a kitchen are naturally exposed to much use in their long lives. Therefore, Køkkensnedkeren recommends that all wood surfaces are treated with oil from time to time to protect the wood from dirt and water and extend the life of the natural, beautiful exterior.
For oiling surfaces, Køkkensnedkeren recommends the product: Trip Trap Worktop Oil available in Nature and White. Nature is used primarily for darker woods or on light woods, if you want a more golden and eventually darker tone. White supports the natural light in the colour of the wood.
Design in details
The specific type of wood and the veneer veins can be both horizontal and vertical when the kitchen is installed, depending on the model and desire. Ask us for further guidance in materials and expressions.
